2. What the app does
tothetopnow is a fitness application that tracks elevation gain with the goal of reaching the height of Mount Everest.
3. Mandatory Strava account
All users must connect a valid Strava account in order to use the app. The app relies on Strava to retrieve activity and elevation data.
4. Personal data we collect
We may collect and process the following personal data:
– Name
– Email address
– User ID
– Activity and training data (such as elevation and progress data)
Some of this data is received from Strava when you connect your Strava account.
5. User accounts
To use the app, you must create an account and connect your Strava account.
6. Payments
The app offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock the Everest challenge. All payments are processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store payment card information.
7. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
– Strava (for activity and elevation data)
– RevenueCat (for in-app purchases and entitlements)
– Backend hosting provided via renders.com
8. How we use your data
We use your data to operate the app, display progress, manage purchases, provide support and improve the service.
9. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data is only shared with trusted service providers necessary to operate the app.
10. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
11. Children’s privacy
The app is not intended for children under the age of 13.
